LENGA'S GERMAN SHEPHERDS IS A FRAUD!!
Helene Kohen, DBA Lenga's German Shepherds of Riverside County, California is a FRAUDULENT DOG BREEDER!!! She makes her money on consumer deposits for unconfirmed litter pregnancies and when she cannot produce the puppy you've reserved, she refuses to refund your deposit! She claims to own several male and female German Shepherds that she states breed and produce litters year round, so that puppies are always available. THIS IS A LIE!! After visiting her "ranch", which is nothing more than a house on a dirt lot in the desert, she only has ONE male and ONE female (female is SEVEN YEARS OLD and ready for retirement!!). She only breeds this pair once a year, and CANNOT PRODUCE the puppies that she promises!! She also mandates that you sign multiple contracts, since she has no clue which litter she is providing you a puppy from, and mandates that you forward a significant deposit ONE YEAR in advance!! After waiting a year, when she still could not produce our puppy in the time she promised, we requested that our deposit be returned so that we may pursue alternate options. She then became extremely profane and stated that not only would she NOT return our deposit, but that she would NEVER sell us a puppy! We have reported her to the Better Business Bureau, and she is currently being sued in civil court for breech of contract, fraud, and theft. DO YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY A FAVOR AND DO NOT BECOME INVOLVED WITH LENGA'S GERMAN SHEPHERDS OR HELENE KOHEN OF MOUNTAIN CENTER, CALIFORNIA. IF I CAN PREVENT ONE PERSON FROM ENDURING THE EMOTIONAL PAIN AND FINANCIAL LOSS OUR FAMILY HAS ENDURED, THEN I WILL HAVE PERFORMED MY CIVIC DUTY TO OTHER UNSUSPECTING CONSUMERS!!

7/24/10 Update: After threats of legal action, and my blogging, the business owner of Lenga's German Shepherds, Helene Kohen has finally returned my deposit.

ReplyDeleteI know that this is an old thread, but if you happen to read this drivel, know full well that Snowjen 10 is an absolute liar--there is no nice way of putting it. Every word she has said is a lie. What actually happened is this: she put a deposit down for a puppy from Lenga's champion breeder Civic. Just before the breeding event, Civic was diagnosed with cancer and had to have emergency surgery to save her life. Snowjen did not care, she demanded a puppy from Civic. She did not care that a breeding would be the end of Civic's life, she only cared that she got a puppy. She was offered any pup of her choosing from the many champion line breeding pairs in the near future, instead Snowjen launched into a childish tantrum. Lenga's would never sell to anyone so heartless. So they refused to sell her any pup and refunded her deposit. And that's all that happened. Snowjen 10 has done nothing but lie about the encounter. Lenga's GSD ranch is a beautiful 5 acre ranch where horses as well as GSDs live in comfort and are carefully cared for. There is no BBB complaints against Lenga's, nor is there any legal actions. If so, I challenge Snowjen--whoever she is, since she doesn't have the courage to use her real name, like most liars--to produce any proof of her juvenile rant. Legal documents, BBB forms, all of those things are easy to provide. Please, anyone reading this, don't be deceived, Lenga's is a top notch breeder who has been in business for 50 years and is respected nationwide by handlers, owners and other GSD breeders. By contrast, this Snowjen coward has been a top notch liar, false accuser and petulant child......and who knows for how many years she's been a champion at that.....
DeleteWe got a puppy from Helene in August 2015. Our puppy has been amazing and was perfectly suited to us based on what we told Helene we were looking for in a dog. She provided us an amazing female pup. Her property is phenomenal and her breeding dogs are majestic.
